Counterclockwise

Counterclockwise: Claiming City Walks is a community-driven project launched in Berlin by architect Lisa, artist Sofiia, and theatre pedagogue Yura.
Through guided urban walks, participants — particularly people with migration and refugee experience — explore questions of belonging, public space, and freedom of movement. Each walk becomes both an artistic action and a social gesture, inviting participants to experience the city through shared narratives and personal encounters.
The first walk, held in Tegel on 13 September 2025, brought together young people with migration backgrounds to explore their neighbourhood in a creative and participatory way.
By combining artistic practices with informal education, the project promotes inclusion, dialogue, and participation in public life.

Animated Dreams

Animated Dreams is a series of creative workshops implemented in Galway by Iryna Kvateruk.
The project combines stop-motion animation, videomaking, knitting, and costume design within a non-formal educational framework. The activities culminated in the production of a playful Halloween film created entirely by the participants.
The workshops engaged children and teenagers with refugee backgrounds, many of whom were displaced by the war in Ukraine. Through storytelling, filming, and editing, participants developed creative skills while strengthening teamwork and confidence.
The project provided a safe and energetic environment for expression, learning, and social integration.

Learning Through Experience

Learning Through Experience is a community initiative implemented in Dundalk by Seun Grace Atiroko.
Building on the methods explored during the Academy, Seun launched Unity Through Sport – Women’s Social Soccer & Cultural Inclusion Programme in September 2025.
The program brings together women from diverse cultural backgrounds — including migrant women and mothers of children with additional needs. Through sport, shared movement, and facilitated reflection, participants build confidence, connections, and intercultural understanding.
The initiative demonstrates how experiential learning and sport can support inclusion, participation, and community cohesion.

Breaking Together

Breaking Together is an urban dance initiative organized in Stockholm by NGO Nordkonst and the study circle Breakalot.
The Lighthouse Breaking Jam brought together young dancers and professional performers in two categories — Juniors and Professionals — creating a shared platform for learning, mentorship, and creative exchange.
Stockholm’s breaking community is culturally diverse, and the event intentionally highlighted dancers, DJs, and judges from different minority backgrounds.
Inspired by the creative methods explored during the Lighthouse Academy, the event also featured handmade visual promotion using stop-motion animation and hand-drawn typography.
Through urban dance culture, the initiative promotes inclusion, representation, and participation in creative spaces.
